The 23rd Enlit Africa will be held in Cape Town, South Africa, from May 20 to 22, 2025, co-hosted by the Electricity Company of South Africa (ESKOM) and the Department of Industry and Trade (DTI) of South Africa. The exhibition will cover power generation, transmission and distribution, energy metering, new energy, energy storage, electric vehicles and water management, and is expected to attract participants from 70 countries and regions, including African countries such as Mozambique, Kenya, South Africa, and Israel.
Enlit Africa, as the leading exhibition in the power and energy industry in Africa, attracts global energy companies, government agencies and industry experts every year. Africa's demand for electricity is growing rapidly, but there is a gap in infrastructure, especially lightning protection, especially in new energy projects. The exhibition will showcase innovative technologies, enhance the visibility of exhibitors in Africa, and connect with potential customers such as power companies, EPC contractors and government project parties.
The 2025 exhibition will be held in conjunction with POWER GEN AFRICA, covering the entire power industry chain. South African power company ESKOM has participated in the "Africa Energy Week" as the host power company for five consecutive years since 2016, and a large number of middle and senior representatives will attend. The exhibition will also have a national collective exhibition area, CEO forum, etc., and is expected to attract more than 4,000 registered visitors, 380 exhibitors and 154 speakers.
Thor Electric will display lightning protection and other electrical products at booth D14, Hall 3, aiming to establish cooperative relations with international peers and jointly develop the market. In addition, Thor Electric will also have a deep understanding of the market demand and trends in South Africa to adjust its product strategy and achieve sustainable development.
In short, the South African International Power Energy Exhibition is an important opportunity for Thor Electric to demonstrate its product strength, expand the market and seek cooperation, and will provide global customers with safer and more reliable power system security.
